Burnley vs Liverpool Prediction
I am betting Burnley here 1.5 and under 3.25 goals scored when they host Premier league champions Liverpool in the early Sunday kick off, it may feel like a ugly bet and in many ways it is but Liverpool have not performed well this season, they relied on a late 83rd wonder strike v Arsenal, a goal in the 100th minute of their game v Newcastle in a 3-2 win, that despite being 2-0 up and only playing against 10 men and scoring twice in the last 2 minutes against Bournemouth in a 4-2 win on the opening day of the season. It is possible to argue that is the mark of champions to win when not playing well but I think they have been fortunate to have 3 wins on the board. Burnley on the other hand are newly promoted to the division this season and I think they have performed to a decent standard so far, they were better than the result against Spurs on the opening day of the season in a 3-0 loss, they then turned over Sunderland in a 2-0 win and only went down to a very late penalty at Old Trafford in a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United. One other thing that I believe is in Burnley's favour is that all the Liverpool players were away on international duty for the past 10 days, that is not the case with Burnley and in theory they should have a fresher squad. The Clarets were promoted with an incredible defensive record and I think they will show Liverpool maximum respect here and it feels like the goals line is a bit big, I think betting the under when the line is 3.25 is worth a go and worth adding to the Burnley 1.5 bet, when a large underdog is value it does make sense to bet the under especially when the line is so big as both bets are correlated.
