Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester City Prediction
The late match tonight sees Wolves host Manchester City, City took part in the club world cup this summer in the USA but since they have only played one pre-season game afterwards against Palermo a game which Guardiola almost changed the entire team at half time and a result I would have doubt over the fitness levels of the City players currently. We seen midweek with PSG in the European Super Cup, whilst they won the trophy they looked well short of match practise match sharpness because they had not played a game in a number of weeks and it was their superior quality to Tottenham's that got them through in the end, I think the same could apply to City here and I think they could be well short of what their normal levels. Wolves for me should be around the same levels as last season, despite losing their key man during the summer Matheus Cunha to Manchester United I think they can be very competitive, they still have an excellent tactician on the sideline in terms of their coach Vitor Pereira and they look to have recruited well with bringing in Fer Lopez, David Moller Wolfe and Jhon Arias and 1 at home against a City side who are likely undercooked and won't be at prime match levels is very backable for me. I am also adding the under goals bet in this match, if City are not at it today then you can imagine the goals will not be flowing and it makes sense to bet the under with my reasoning behind betting Wolves 1
