Celtic vs St Mirren Prediction
I am betting St Mirren 2.5 in what may feel like a bit of a leap of faith but it was only a few months ago St Mirren came and nearly won here, in fact it was an injury time goal that only stopped the buddies that day from taking all 3 points that day. Celtic will be without their star player from last season Nicolas Kuhn who now plays in Italy with Como and also out is winger Diego Jota who picked up a cruciate ligament injury. Celtic are of course likely to win this game but they may not have it all their own way and St Mirren have goals in their team and may not be so worried about going to Celtic park as much as some other teams following their impressive performance here in May and with Celtic only keeping just 1 clean sheet in their last 5 league matches last season they will quietly fancy their chances of scoring. If St Mirren do grab a goal it would mean Celtic would need to score 4 and that could be a real ask so early in the season for this Celtic team. I am happy to bet St Mirren 2.5.
